What this group is not:

This group is not here to tell you who you are.

It is not a debate space, a political argument, a conversion-oriented group, or a place where you will be pushed toward or away from transition.

It is a therapy group where you can slow down, tell the truth, listen to others, and begin building trust with yourself. It is facilitated by Tim Goode LPC who is a licensed counselor in South Carolina.

What about confidentiality?

Because this is a therapy group, confidentiality matters. Group members are expected to protect one another’s privacy, attend from a private location, use headphones when possible, and not record sessions.

While GoodeCounsel follows professional confidentiality standards, no group therapist can fully guarantee the confidentiality of what other members choose to share outside the group. These expectations will be reviewed before enrollment.
